Oostduinquerque is a seaside resort in the Belgian province of West Flanders, located on the southwest coast of Belgium. Once independent, Oostduinkerke is now a sub-municipality within the municipality of Coxeide.
The name Ostdunkerke translates as "East Dunkirk". The city originally had a name consonant with the French Dunkirk, so in the 13th century they added "Oost-" to its name, not to be confused with its French counterpart.
