The webcam is located on Mount Snezhanka, at the top of the Pamporovo ski resort in Bulgaria.
Pamporovo ski resort is the second most important and popular ski resort in Bulgaria after Bansko. it is located in the Rhodope Mountains at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level in the south of the country, 87 km south of Plovdiv.
Pamporovo is the oldest ski resort in Bulgaria, and has been skiing here since 1933. The skiing season in the resort begins in mid December and lasts until the end of April.
The climate is very mild, and there are a lot of sunny days in Pamporovo. There are 80 snow guns working in the resort, which ensure a good snow cover on the slopes.
