Lyulin is the largest residential neighborhood in Bulgaria and one of the central neighborhoods of Sofia, located in the northwest of the Bulgarian capital at the foot of Lyulin Mountain, after which it is named. Lyulin residential quarter is built mainly with panel multi-storey buildings, it is home to about 115 thousand people.
The neighborhood is divided into 10 separate small neighborhoods: Lyulin 1, Lyulin 2, Lyulin 3, ..... and Lyulin 10. There are several metro stations in the residential quarter: Lyulin, Slivnitsa and Zapaden Park, providing transport links to other districts of Sofia. Through the web camera you can see a large street Tsaritza Yona passing almost through the entire residential area of Lyulin. The center of Sofia itself is 5.4 km east along Tsaritza Yona Street from the residential area of Lyulin.
