Yoshkar-Ola webcam - Chavayna Boulevard, Annunciation Tower and Cathedral
The Cathedral of the Annunciation is the cathedral of the Mari Metropolis, located on Republic Square and the Blessed Virgin Mary in Yoshkar-Ola.
It was built in 2010-2014. It was consecrated on June 12, 2016. The Annunciation Tower is a copy of the tower of the southern wall of the Moscow Kremlin, located between the Vodovoznaya and Tainitskaya towers.
The name of the structure is associated with the icon of the "Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary", which, according to legend, miraculously appeared on the northern wall of the tower during the reign of Ivan the Terrible.
