Webcam Sochi. Seaside Beach
Primorsky is one of the beaches of the central embankment of Sochi, named after a nearby hotel, the oldest in the city. To be honest it is far from being the best beach of the city, the locals simply do not go here (and they have already tried many beaches). It's all about the very large number of people and the complete absence of any features. If to take 5 nearby beaches and to compare with Seaside, you can hardly tell than it is better than others. The popularity of the beach among the locals, of course, was influenced by history. For many years it was one of the worst beaches in the center because of the huge stones on which it is simply impossible to walk.
Several times the city administration began to rent the beaches (for paid services) and all of them have been transformed - including Primorsky. Though it is still inferior to its neighbors. And the locals - in the old memory does not go. The hallmark of the beach (and the entire promenade) is a statue of Poseidon, located on the beach. Because of her it has become one of the most photographed in the city. Also in Primorsky there is a small oddity - a small piece of buna sticking out in the middle of the beach. It only extends a couple of meters into the water.
In summer the beach is covered with wooden walkways to make walking more comfortable. Much of it is taken up by the paid zone with sun beds and quite authentic wooden umbrellas. There are cabins for changing clothes and there is no free toilet near the beach (contrary to the instructions of the City Hall), but there is a paid one. From the beach start various sea entertainments like "bananas", "bungees" and paraglider flights. The beach is surrounded on all sides by Soviet-era stone buildings. On the left there is a long buna with a parachute tower at the end - great for diving.
