Little Venice in Bamberg is not like Venice in Italy. It is called so because the term "Venice" is accepted all over the world - as a symbol of a city or quarter on the water, river, canals, islands. There is no embankment or boardwalk and you can only get to the houses from the river side by boat. Bright, colorful houses are reflected in the waters of the river, fishing boats are moored near the houses, there are no sidewalks, and flowers are planted on the loggias and balconies.
