Puebla de Zaragoza or more commonly used simply Puebla (Puebla) is a city and municipality in Mexico, the capital of the state of Puebla. A major archaeological center of Latin America. An important industrial, transport, scientific and economic center of Mexico.
The city was founded in 1530. It is one of the first cities founded by the Spanish conquistadors in Mexico and the Americas. In 1987, it was declared a World Heritage City by UNESCO.
