Matosinhos (Port. Matosinhos) is a city located on the Atlantic coast in the Porto District of the Douro Litoral Province, it is part of the large agglomeration of Greater Porto.
It has an area of 5.31 km² and is home to about 28,000 people. The webcam shows the large sandy beach Matosinhos Beach, it is the main and largest beach of Matosinhos.
To the north of the beach is the city's seaport (Port of Leixoes) with cruise and cargo terminals, as well as the marina (marina for yachts). The cruise terminal of Matosinhos can be seen through this observation webcam. The second largest beach of Matosinhos, "Leca da Palmeira Beach", is just behind the seaport.
