The Burgplatz is the center of the historic city of Düsseldorf - the capital of North Rhine - Westphalia. It is located directly on the banks of the Rhine.
In the south the Burgplatz is adjacent to the Marktplatz square. On May 10, 1995, Burgplatz was listed as a listed historic and architectural monument.
