Tatranska Lomnica is located at an altitude of 850 m. It is the oldest tourist center in the High Tatras. Its natural dominant is the second highest peak of the High Tatras - Lomnitsky Peak (2632 m). The museum of the Tatran National Park is located here. A funicular takes tourists to the Rocky Lake at an altitude of 1751 m, a chairlift to the Lomnitsky saddle, and a funicular with cabins directly to the mountain. Tatranska Lomnica is home to one of the largest Slovak ski centers "Na yamah". There are 2 ski areas: the Pit, designed for the youngest and beginners, and the high-mountain Lomnicke-selo - for experienced athletes who can use the downhill track. In addition, there are several ski jumps, a slalom track and a toboggan run (2500 m). The maximum height difference is 870 m. There are schools for children and beginners. Lifts, cable car. Good conditions for paragliding. In summer, hiking on different routes; cycling; horse riding school; ski jumping on artificial turf. it is located at an altitude of 850 m.
