The third largest city of Mallorca is located on the edge of Mount Tramuntana in the northern part of the island.
Inca is a very old town with many beautiful squares. This town is known for its leather industry and shoe making. In recent years new stores and restaurants have sprung up in the pedestrian zone of Inca, making Inca one of the main shopping towns on Majorca.
There is a weekly market which takes place every Thursday morning. You can buy fruits and vegetables, clothes, accessories, shoes, household goods, and sometimes live animals at the market in Inca. It is also worth seeing in Inka wax museum and Dominican monastery.
Near the town of Inca is 304-meter-high peak Santa Magdalena, where you can jump with a hang-glider.
