Webcam Komarom. Yekai Square
Komarom is a city in northwestern Hungary on the southern bank of the Danube River, in the Komarom-Estergom county. Until 1918 Komarom and Komárno were a single city. After the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire the city was divided and most of it went to Slovakia.
Komarom and Komarno are connected by two bridges: the old iron bridge and the new lifting bridge. Currently, a third bridge is under construction, which is expected to be completed by 2022.
The population of Komarom as of 2006 is 19,659.
