Sovetsk is a city in the Kaliningrad Region, Russian Federation. The city is located at the confluence of the Tylzha and Neman rivers, connected to the Lithuanian coast by the Queen Louise Bridge through the customs terminal. The settlement is located simultaneously in two states-Russia and Lithuania. Opposite Sovetsk on the Lithuanian coast is Panyamune - the smallest city in Lithuania.
