Zakopane is a small town in southern Poland. It is located in a valley in the Tatras. Due to its convenient location (Zakopane is the starting point for numerous routes), it is the most popular mountain resort in Poland. In summer, it attracts lovers of mountain walks: the most popular peaks are Svinitsa, Gevont. In winter, it is a popular ski resort.
