Blankenberg Webcam. O'Neill Beachclub Beach
Blankenberge is a popular resort town in the north of the country in West Flanders, whose coastline is washed by the North Sea. It was originally a small fishing village. But beginning in the 19th century, people from other parts of the country began to arrive here for holidays, and in the 1850s began building the first hotels. Today, tourism in Blankenberg is the dominant industry, but among the locals there are still many fishermen. The town beach is 3 km long and 350 m wide.
The main attraction and calling card of Blankenberg is considered to be the 350-meter pier, built in 1933. But this is not all what can please its guests this cozy Belgian city. There are many shopping centers, entertainment areas, cafes, restaurants, nightclubs and discos in the center. It offers a casino, mini-golf, "Jolly Velodrome", an aquarium, where there are about 70 species of the North Sea inhabitants and many other attractions.
