Trinity Avenue is the main street of Arkhangelsk, passing through the historic center of the city. The main administrative buildings of the city, as well as many cultural monuments are located on Troitsky Avenue.
Over its long history, Trinity Avenue has changed a lot of names - Dvoryansky, Merchant, Sredny. From 1920 to 1993 the street was called Pavlin Vinogradov Avenue. Its present name the prospect has received in honor of Trinity Cathedral, demolished in Soviet times.
Trinity Avenue is a very busy street and a key transport artery of Arkhangelsk.
