Webcam Biysk. Victory Park (Altai region)
Victory Park is located in the eastern part of Biysk, overlooking the embankment of the river Biya to the city beach.
The park is located on the west side of the embankment of the access roads of the municipal bridge and looks great when you enter the bridge when driving through town on the Chuisky Tract.
Construction and improvement of the park was completed in 1995 to the 50th anniversary of Victory in World War II, in memory of which it was named. In 2010, a marble monument with a cast-iron memorial plate is installed in the park.
The park is planted trees rare in Siberia species: oaks, elms, chestnuts. The park is illuminated by the original lighting fixtures. Single landscape-architectural complex with the park forms a city beach. In the summertime in the park are organized sale of drinks and ice cream, fast food outlets. There is a police post in the park.
In the center of the park at the intersection of three alleys is a stone stele with the names of the inhabitants of Biysk - Heroes of the Soviet Union and full Cavaliers of the Order of Glory, applied to the plates.
