Peschici is a town and municipality in Italy, located in the Puglia region, in the province of Foggia. The population is 4,314 (2008).
Peschici is located on the top of the karst rock, towering above the Adriatic Sea for more than a hundred meters. From here you have a stunning view of the beautiful bay, one of the most photographed bays in Europe, of which the beach is a part.
The beach of Manaccora is located 6 km from the center of Peskici, next to the bay of the same name. It is a beautiful beach with soft golden sand and southern plants that grow along the entire long shoreline.
Free sections of the beach alternate with paid sections equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas.
There are three campsites around the beach, so it's very crowded in the summer, with music and entertainment available at all hours of the day.
Not far from Manakkora it is worth taking a look at the many wooden structures, which in the past were used by fishermen to dry and mend fishing nets.
