Polyarnye Zori is a town (since 1991) in the Murmansk region of Russia. Administrative center of the municipal district of Polarnye Zori. Near the town is the Kola Nuclear Power Plant. Population - 14,209 people (2022).

The city is located on the banks of the river Niva and lake Pinozero, 224 kilometers from Murmansk. The nearest settlements are Zasheek (3 km), Pinozero (4 km), Nivsky (8 km) and Afrikanda-1, 2 (16 and 13 km). The city is surrounded by the territory of Zasheikovsky forestry.

Polyarnye Zori is one of the northernmost cities that do not have polar night. The shortest day (December 22) in Polyarnye Zory lasts 21 minutes.
Construction of the city began in 1964 in connection with the start of construction of the Kola Nuclear Power Plant. The city was started to be built next to the worker's settlement of Zashelek, as a settlement for the builders of the nuclear power plant. The first dwelling house was commissioned in October 1967.

The settlement Polyarnye Zori was included in the registry and received the status of a workers' settlement by the decision of the Murmansk Regional Executive Committee ¹ 640 from December 20, 1973.

The status of a town of regional subordination was given by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR on April 22, 1991. Earlier the settlement and the adjacent territory were subordinated to the Apatity City Council.
