Ilhabela (port. Ilhabela) is a beautiful resort town in the state of São Paulo in southeastern Brazil, located on the northwest coast of the large island of Ilhabela, 2.5 km from the Brazilian coast.
The city was founded on September 3, 1805, has an area of 348 km² and is home to about 36,000 people. Illabela is a popular tourist destination in Brazil, it is very popular especially with the inhabitants of the state of Sao Paulo.
Many picturesque sandy beaches and a warm subtropical climate make Illabela a great place for a beach holiday. A large part of the island is a nature reserve with hiking trails. The island has many beautiful sandy beaches and waterfalls. Through the webcam you can see the picturesque Santa Teresa Bay, which is located north of the center of Ilhabela.
