Morecambe is a town located on the coast of the bay of the Irish Sea in Lancashire, North West England, 86 km north of Liverpool.
It was formed in 1889 by combining the villages of Bair, Poulton-le-Sands and Torresholm, and is named after Morecam Bay, on whose coast it lies. Morecam is a popular seaside resort in England, thanks to its proximity to Scotland and Liverpool, the fifth largest city in Britain and the 3rd in England.
Its main attraction is a statue of the famous British comedian Eric Morkam. Through the webcam you can see the waterfront with the beach on the shores of Morecambe Bay and the Marin Road Central.
