Strebske Pleso is the highest and coldest resort in the Tatras. Therefore, Strebsky Pleso has the best snow conditions and the longest ski season. It hosts the stages of the European Championships in cross-country skiing and ski jumping. Cross-country skiers have up to 10 km of adapted cross-country trails at their disposal. The resort has train and bus connections to other resorts and the city of Poprad. The unique microclimate has long been recognized as therapeutic. The resort has several sanatoriums specializing in the treatment of the upper respiratory tract. The resort has a well-developed infrastructure: many shops, restaurants, ski equipment rentals. There is a post office, a stadium, a national restaurant - "Koliba". The resort has 3 ski lifts and 2 cable cars (green).
