Sycamore Alley, Kurortny Prospekt

Alley is one of the sights of the city of Sochi. It is a monument of landscape art of the city. It is a gift for the celebration of the tercentenary of the Romanov dynasty. Trees and flowers were planted on the alley by students of the parish school and the vocational school. Sycamore Alley was opened on April 2, 1913. In the Sochi project of the 50s, Platonov Alley should not have been at all. Kurortny Prospekt (formerly Stalin) was supposed to be a single wide thoroughfare of the city. But Metelev, who was responsible for the reconstruction, managed to develop a project that preserves the alley.
