Webcam Larnaca Livadia
Livadia is a municipality of Larnaca, located in the north of the city at an altitude of about 15 meters above sea level.
The name of the municipality of Livadia [Greek: Λιβάδια] comes from the characteristics of the area, which is a meadow area, which is part of a plain with a watercourse and abundant grass vegetation for grazing livestock. The word "Livadi", from which the name of the municipality is derived, literally translates as "meadow".
Near the community of present-day Livadia there was once a settlement called "Tridato", which does not exist today.
After the elimination of the settlement, the remaining residents of Tridato moved to the area where Livadia Township is today (2018). They began to build their village there and gradually it became the modern municipality that we know.
