Krasnodarskaya street (formerly Sovetskaya street) is located in the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk.
By the decision of the executive committee of Krasnoyarsk city council #123 of 29.03.1955 Sovetskaya street in the village of Innokentyevsky was renamed into Krasnodarskaya street.
It was named after Krasnodar, founded in 1793; before 1920 - Ekaterinodar, received city status in 1867.
Krasnodarskaya Street begins from Partizan Zheleznyak main street and Metallurgov Avenue and, passing in a straight line about 1.5 kilometers, ends at the junction with Voronov Street and Komsomolsky Prospekt. The street is very congested; at rush hours there is often a traffic jam.
The housing stock on the street is very diverse. The modern architecture in high-tech style neighbors with the houses of World War II.
