Ahtopol is a very small town on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, part of Burgas region. Its population is about 1500 people. It is the southernmost town on the coast of the country. It is believed that the town was founded in 430 BC. It was founded by the Greeks from Athens. And the name comes from the word Aktopoli, which means Coastal City.
