Web-camera of Marseille - Quay with yachts, Ferris wheel
The city of Marseille, which is located in France, has a huge waterfront with yachts. It is not surprising that with such population and access to the sea, the city authorities were obliged to provide a place for the mooring of maritime transport. The French love sailing and for them buying a yacht or boat is like buying a car.
To see this incredible spectacle, when thousands of boats and yachts are gathered in one square you do not need to spend money for a ticket. Modern technical capabilities allow us to travel from home, for this it is enough to have a device for receiving and displaying video and a good Internet connection. In front of the embankment with yachts and the Ferris wheel there is a webcam. It gives a real-time picture around the clock.
For a better view of the quay the webcam is set at a certain height. If you look closely, you can't even count the number of ships that are here. Not only small boats arrive here, but also large steamboats, anchored in the foreground.
On the right, the camera slightly captures the Ferris wheel, which at night is lit up with different lights. As night falls, the camera captures only the light from the boats and the windows of the nearby buildings, the waterfront area remains out of frame due to the lack of a light source.
