The oldest surviving building in Blankenberg today is Old Town Hall, built in 1679-1680. Worse preserved is the 14th-century Church of St. Anthony, which suffered during religious conflicts in the 16th and 17th centuries. But the Baroque period paintings are still visible here. The small fishermen's chapel with interesting sculptures in the courtyard is nice and cosy.
In Blankenberg there is a port and a convenient marina. There is a yacht club, which annually holds regattas. In addition, the city has already become a traditional Carnival, the Flower Parade and the Festival of sand sculptures, which attracts tourists from all over Europe.
