Ustroń is a beautiful spa town located in a picturesque area of Poland. The first mention of Ustroń dates back to 1305, but the status of the city was granted only in 1956. Throughout its history the town has attracted millions of tourists with its ski slopes.
It is worth noting that Ustroń today is one of the largest ski resorts of the country.
It is located in the valley of the Vistula River and is surrounded on both sides by mountain ranges and massifs. On the slope of Mount Chantoria is one of the popular ski centers, which has a convenient access.
Despite the fact that Ustroń is considered a developed tourist center, it is still developing today. New hotels and hotel complexes are being built, and the existing ski slopes are being improved. The length of all ski tracks in the town is more than 6.5 km. Elevators are opened for tourists and vacationers that take them to the highest point of the slopes within a short period of time.
In addition to being a ski resort, Ustroń is also a cultural center. There are three museums in the town, among them the Museum of Metallurgy and Blacksmithing. This museum contains unique technical means and historical exhibits.
