Webcam Sanya. Sanya Bay Resort Area
The shore of Sanya Bay (Sanyawan) is the closest beach to Sanya, the longest in the entire resort. The place is not as popular with foreign tourists as Yalunwan and Dadunhai, mostly locals rest on the coast. The coastal strip length of about 22 km is covered with beige fine sand. The width of the coastline is about 20-30 m, at low tide the surf edge recedes to tens of meters. The entrance to the water is flat, without holes and rocks. The depth increases gradually, and the shallow water is ideal for recreation with children.
A distinctive feature of Sanya Bay - park forest belt throughout the beach area. The park separates the bay from the road, beyond which the development begins. Quay as such is not, for the convenient movement on the beach laid planking. Alleys of green space decorated with flower beds, topiary figures and original art objects.
In the bay is an artificial sand island Phoenix (Phoenix Island), connected to the mainland by a road bridge. The futuristic high-rises look spectacular, even during the day, and at dusk it turns on a colorful illumination. People specially come to the shore to admire the sea sunset, and from 19:30 - evening light decoration of high-rise buildings and laser show. Townspeople practice Qigong gymnastics on the beach, hold impromptu music concerts with live music and dancing, and barbecue seafood.
Sanya Bay Beach never looks crowded thanks to its length, so lovers of quiet corners will easily find a suitable place for solitude and relaxation.
The water temperature doesn't drop below +26°C even during the winter months and the air gets as warm as +30 ... +35°C during the day. From May-June to autumn you'd better abstain from going there because of the high probability of catching a typhoon. The "high" season in Hainan opens in October and lasts until early May, during which time there is usually a calm and refreshing breeze in the bay.
