The Fowey is a river in Cornwall. It originates in the Fowey Well, in the Bodmin Moor, northwest of Brown Willy Hill, which flows into the English Channel.
The Fowey crosses two areas of special scientific interest: its upper valley (Upper Fowey Valley) and downstream, the Drain Woods, where the river flows through narrow gorges. Golita Falls, located in Drain's Wood, is also a National Wildlife Refuge (NNR).
