Karlovy Vary is a spa town in the Czech Republic, located in the west of the historical region of Bohemia at the confluence of the Ogrze, Rolava and Tepla rivers. Karlovy Vary is a health resort, thanks to the presence of hot springs of mineral water, which have healing properties. Currently, in Karlovy Vary, 12 healing springs of similar chemical composition, but with different carbon dioxide content and temperature, from 40 to 72 degrees Celsius, come to the surface. There is also a source number 13-so jokingly called the local strong liquor Beherovka.
