Hezhou Webcam. Temple of Literature
Hezhou Literature Temple is located in Linhe Old Town, Hejie City, Babu District, Hezhou City, Guangxi. It occupies a total area of 79 acres and a building area of about 3,700 square meters. It includes the main building of the Temple of Literature, the Mingluntan complex, and Confucius Square.
It is the largest Temple of Literature in Guangxi.
The temple was founded during the YuanYu period of the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of over 920 years; it has a 1,000-year-old banyan tree that has witnessed the vicissitudes of the Hezhou Literature Temple's fate.
