Mississauga is Canada's sixth largest city. It occupies a large area in the Peel region of Ontario. Since the 1970s, Mississauga has been a completely financially independent city, as it does not borrow money from the state budget. There are 7 federal highways through Mississauga, through which Canada is in contact with America.
The largest airport of international importance, Pearson, is also located in Mississauga. Mississauga is a real financial capital of the state. In the asset of the city are the branches of international companies: Microsoft, General Electric, Pepsico and others.
The central landmark-symbol of Mississauga is the condominium tower built in 2006 with 50 floors. Among other things, there are many great parks and informative museums. Entertainment venues are also found everywhere. The main natural site of the city is considered a park with a waterfront Marina and a lake, the coast of which is dotted with yachts.
It is worth noting that Mississauga has 552 parks. The Bradley Museum, historic Benares House, art gallery and young artists gallery, as well as the Meadowvale and Stage West theaters are quite popular. In town, you can find the original 1826 structure called Leslie Log House.
