Zeewolde is a town and municipality in the province of Flevoland.
The Zewolde community was founded in 1984 on the polders, and came under the administration of Flevoland in 1986. The first settlers-farmers on the land appeared in 1979.
Since the land was recently drained, the landscape and architecture of Zevolde are clearly planned.
In the town there is an enterprise for the production of Spyker supercars.
