Novorossiysk is a beautiful and well-appointed city located in the southeast of Krasnodar Krai, on the shores of the deep-water Tsemesskaya (Novorossiysk) Bay of the Black Sea. This natural harbor has largely determined the direction of development, history and appearance of Novorossiysk, turning it into a major commercial port and outpost of the southern borders of Russia.
Despite the devastating consequences of the enemy siege during the Great Patriotic War, the city has preserved interesting pre-revolutionary buildings, memorials, monuments, which captures the military chronicle.
