Looe is a coastal fishing town in Cornwall with a population of just over 5,000.
Archaeological evidence confirms that the settlement here dates back as far as 1,000 B.C. Historical records of the site date back to 1230, when the area was granted the right to hold a weekly market and fair.
The city is located on the banks of the river of the same name.
Cornwall is considered the warmest county in England, so all the coastal towns automatically become mini resorts.
British resorts can not compare with the resorts in hot countries, but still, the sea in Britain is enough, and the locals catch every opportunity to take advantage of it. Not everyone climbs in the water, but a lot of people like to relax on the shore.
So Loup has become a real mini-resort, with hotels, stores, restaurants and, of course, the beach.
