Webcam Nakhodka. Vladivostokskaya street (Primorsky Krai)
Nakhodka is a port city in Primorsky Krai, in southeastern Russia. It is located on the east of the Trudny Peninsula, washed by the waters of the Sea of Japan, which is part of the Pacific Ocean. As the third largest city in Primorsky Krai after Vladivostok and Ussuriysk, Nakhodka has a favorable geopolitical location. Ships leave its ports daily to deliver the valuable raw materials, which the Far East is so rich in, to many countries around the world.
Nakhodka is a small, cozy, fairly clean and green city with a population of only about 160 thousand people. Outstanding attractions are not here, the number of theaters and museums is small, but the nature has created in Nakhodka and its surroundings excellent conditions for beach holidays and sea entertainment. In summer the coastline, entirely rugged with numerous picturesque coves, becomes a place of pilgrimage of townspeople and thousands of tourists, mainly from the nearest Far Eastern cities.
Nakhodka's coastline is home to numerous tourist facilities, health resorts and tent camps, and its beach landscapes amaze with their diversity. Pebble and sand, equipped and wild, they are attractive for couples with children, and for noisy youth companies. They find a secluded nook and lovers of naked rest. Active tourists do not miss the opportunity to go sailing on yachts, boats, kayaks, ride along the coast on horseback, fishing, rock climbing in the mountains near the city or just wander in the neighborhood, crossed by emerald, forested hills.
Nakhodka often hosts various sporting events: sailing regattas, rowing competitions, and on one of the city's lakes, which freeze over in the winter, carting competitions are held annually, organizing track races on the ice. Regularly Nakhodka neighborhoods become the scene of municipal and regional motocross championships.
The port city is famous for its Japanese, Chinese and Korean restaurants. There are several excellent nightclubs and stylish bars. Nakhodka shopping centers offer a wide range of goods from the Pacific region, although prices are quite high compared to other seaside port cities.
