Sliven is a city in Bulgaria, the administrative center of the Sliven region and the community of Sliven. The international highway E-773, connecting Sofia with Burgas, passes through the city, and is only 110 km from Bulgaria's largest commercial port. In parallel with this highway route, a main railway line has also been built.
