"Lift Sopot" is the longest passenger cable car in Bulgaria with a length of 3990 m, it lifts tourists from the city of Sopot in the Plovdiv region to the National Park "Central Balkan", located in the Balkan Mountains in the center of the country.
The bottom station of the elevator is located at an altitude of 557 m above sea level, near Sopot Ascension Monastery. In the summer season it operates daily from 9:00 to 17:30 h, and in winter only on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 16:30 h. "Elevator Sopot has its own swimming pool, which is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00 h. For an additional fee you can rent sun loungers, towels and a safe for storing things.
