Feodosia is a city in the Crimea on the Black Sea coast. It is a popular resort, which is famous for its excellent sandy beaches and calm sea. Feodosia is located on the south-east of the Crimean Peninsula on the gentle slopes of the Tepe-Oba Mountain Range. The city is located on the coast of the bay of the same name on the Black Sea and is surrounded by low mountains to the south and west. The climate of Feodosia is transitional between temperate continental and subtropical. It is characterized by hot and often arid summers and mild winters with rare frosts.
