Apatity is a town in the Murmansk region of Russia. The center of the urban district of Apatity with subordinate territory, which in addition to it includes the village of Tik-Guba and Khibiny station. Located on the Kola Peninsula, between Lake Imandra and the Khibiny mountain range, on the left bank of the Belaya River.
The Cosmonauts street began to be built at the end of the 50s. By 1961 part of the buildings had already been built, and in honor of the first manned space flight, held on April 12 the same year, it was decided to call it Cosmonauts Street.
The street is located in the main part of the city, passing from north to south.
The street starts from the intersection with Severnaya and Moskovskaya streets. From Festivalnaya street to Bredova street is one-way traffic. The street ends in Stroiteley street.
