Krasnogvardeyskoye (before 1944 Kurman-Kemelchi) is an urban-type settlement, the center of the Krasnogvardeyskoye settlement council and the Krasnogvardeyskoye District.
It is located 68 km from the city of Simferopol in the central part of the Crimean steppe. On the territory of the village is located railway station Urozhaynaya. The highway Simferopol - Kharkov - Moscow passes through the village.
The area is 1.2 thousand hectares, population about 12 thousand people, 70 streets, alleys and passages.
