Seefeld is a resort region, located on a sunny plateau at an altitude of 1200 m, surrounded by the Karlwendel and Wetterstein mountain ranges, near Innsbruck (21 km) and Munich (138 km). Seefeld became famous after the Olympic Games of 1964 and 1976. Seefeld offers first-class conditions for all types of winter sports. Gschwandtkopf-is a ski area in Seefeld, the ski area is served by chairlifts and rope lifts.
