Balneario Camboriu (port. Balneario Camboriu) - is one of the most popular and famous beach resorts of Brazil, it is located on the Atlantic coast in the state of Santa Catarina in the south of Brazil, 84 km north of the state capital, the city of Florianopolis.
Balneário Camborio was founded on July 20, 1964 and is the youngest city in Brazil. Balneario Camborio was originally built as a resort with a developed tourist infrastructure, the city is also known as the "Dubai of Brazil. Balneario Camborio is full of high-rise buildings, skyscrapers beautifully frame the city's Atlantic coastline.
Along its coastline stretches a long sandy beach, attracting many tourists from all over Latin America. The beach has fine white sand, and its length is 9 km. Along the beach runs an oceanic avenue Avenida Atlantica with many restaurants, bars, and cafes.
The city is famous for the unique cable car that connects the city's central beach with Praia das Laranjeiras beach. Balneário Camborio is served by the Vitor Condera International Airport, located in the town of Navegantis, 33 km north of the resort.
