Located in the Rhodope Mountains, Pamporovo ski Center is often called the sunniest resort in Bulgaria. The sun shines here all 300 days a year, this does not affect the quality of the snow cover, so the season here lasts no less than in other Bulgarian resorts.
Pamporovo, the second largest resort in Bulgaria, is one of the oldest ski centers in Bulgaria — this place has been hosting guests for almost half a century. Since then, it has managed to grow a well-equipped ski resort, the level of service is not inferior to Western European resorts.
The trails that run along the slopes of Mount Snezhanka are mostly designed for intermediate skiers, although there are also "black" and simple descents. The gentle slopes make Pamporovo especially attractive for beginners. There are 17.5 km of marked ski trails of varying degrees of difficulty. For experienced skiers, there is a giant slalom track. Classes in alpine skiing are conducted by more than a hundred instructors, there is a mountain rescue service.
