Segezha (Karelian Segezha, Fin. Sekee, Sekehe, Veps. Segezh) is a town in the Republic of Karelia of the Russian Federation. Administrative center of Segezha district, forms Segezha urban settlement.
The town is located on the northwestern shore of the lake Vygozero at the confluence of the river Segezha, 267 km from Petrozavodsk, 670 km from St. Petersburg.
Segezha urban settlement borders with rural settlements: Idelskoye in the north, Valdayskoye in the south-east and Popovporozhskoye in the south-west. Nadvoitskoye urban settlement is located across Lake Vygozero in the north.
