Kizimen (Shchapinskaya Sopka) is an active volcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula
It is located on the western slope of the southern tip of the Tumrok ridge, 115 km from the village of Milkovo, 265 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The eruption of the volcano was observed only in 1928-1929. The rest of the time, the volcano shows only fumarolic-solfatarny activity, leading to the accumulation of sulfur crusts.
