Webcam Yalta. Lenin Quay
Lenin embankment is the central walking street of Yalta and at the same time the oldest street in the city. The embankment is framed by palm trees, on it you can find a continuous succession of restaurants, attractions, cafes and bars. Different styles are intertwined in its architecture and it is faced in red granite and light grey porphyrite.
The place is popular among visitors and townspeople, this is where most of the sights of Yalta are concentrated, the embankment itself against the background of other historic buildings is considered quite young, since at the end of XIX century here spent time only fishermen and pedestrians.
Nevertheless, the city evolved over time, there was a need to improve the coastal zone to increase the flow of tourists, which led to the appearance of the now famous all embankment. To some visitors the place reminds the promenades of Nice, Cannes and Monaco, but with a fair share of chic and glamour the place manages to retain a cozy and homely warmth.
