The July 15 Martyrs ' Bridge (formerly the Bosphorus Bridge)is the first suspension bridge across the Bosphorus Strait, connecting two parts of Istanbul: European and Asian. After the military coup attempt on July 15, 2016, the Bosphorus Bridge was renamed the "Bridge of the Martyrs of July 15".
